We are Alpha College of Engineering established in 2000, affiliated to VTU, Belgaum and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

        Dr U N Kempaiah, Principal of Alpha College of Engineering has a rich academic experience. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering at Gulbarga University. He obtained his Masters & Doctoral Degree from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bangalore University. Dr U N Kempaiah has also guided several UG and PG projects. Currently he is guiding three Doctoral projects. To his credit he has many technical publications in National & International conferences.
        Dr U N Kempaiah is a member of many prestigious professional establishments such as, Indian Institute of Metals, Indian Institute of Welding, Institute of Engineers (India) and Indian Society for Technical Education.
        On prior joining of Alpha College of Engineering, Dr U N Kempaiah worked at Golden Valley Institute of Technology for two decades in different capacities. This has helped him in taking up the challenge of shaping this institution that provides value-based quality education in technical and technological arena. His commitment and vision for the institution is sure to bring it to the threshold of success by providing responsible and competent citizens to the society.
